Problem with Merriam-Webster

Hi. I'm sorry if this isn't the right forum to ask this, but I couldn't find any better forum. Whenever I want to listen to a pronunciation of a word, a new window pops up which I find very annoying. Cambridge just plays the sound file without any extra window. Does any of you here know if there's a solution to it?

I also sent an e-mail to Merriam-Webster complaining about the situation, but they have yet to reply back.

Nugso a solution No, I don't think there's a solution. It asks me if I want to use my own audio set-up to hear the word, and I click that. My Windows Media Player then starts up and I hear the word.

Sure. Let me know what they say.

Are you saying you can't get the audio even when you click to hear it on your own set-up?

I can get the audio but on a new window(pop-up) which kind of annoys me.

OK. Same for me, but without the "annoys me" part.

You must be very young compared to me. These little things don't annoy me as much as when I was younger.

Considering I'm only 22, you're very likely to be older than me.
