Problem rearranging this sentence?

Hi! everyone.

Could you tell me whether I rearranged the sentence properly?

It is really worth spending five years of your life studying.

I rearranged the above sentence to;

Studying is really worth spending five years of your life.

Or should I say ; Spending five years of your life studying is really worth it.

Does the colored "it" refer to "studying"?

Top answer

silak12 Studying is really worth spending five years of your life. This isn't right. Adding "on" (or possibly "doing") at the end will fix the most salient problem, though the result is not the greatest sentence ever written, in my opinion.
