I work for a big company that wants me to translate some of their stuff into English. The things that consist of command for a very specialist telephone switchboard. When someone calls the company he or she is supposed hear a warm welcome like 'Welcome to the company..bla bla bla...'.
The main problem I have is the one concerning a specialist department that will be established there. That will be some kind of helpdesk of which the workers will provide the customers with two kinds of information. The first one will be typical marketing information about products i.e. it's functions, prices, features etc. The second will be some kind of a technical support for customers like helping the consumers with potential problems in usage.
This is where the problem occurs. I don't know how to call this department. Please give me some ideas.
I called it 'Customer Product and Tech Infoline'. Please let me know what you think of it. Does this sound good to you ? Does it sound natural ? I'm asking because I've already given this idea to someone and I don't know what to think.
It's very important to me.
Thank you in advance, Kamil
