problem in using who and whom

Ok i've come across all the concepts which mark the difference between who and whom..but the examples have always been simple..Let me ask these question
1) The players whom we have selected for our team are young and ambitious.
2)The guests whom we were talking about have come are my brothers-in-law.
3)They also help the poor who really sympathize with them in the moments of distress.
4)The beggar whom we had suspected to be guilty turned out to be innocent.
I want to know is anyone of these sentences is correct or not with explanation.
thanks and regards

They are all correct. Who is used as the subject of what follows: ...the poor who really sympathize. In the other sentences, whom serves as an object.

It (have come in red) should have a strikeout mark. In my post it's been both, i.e. in red and crossed out, but on the forum page it lost the strikeout line. Is there something wrong with the script or is there something I'm not aware of how to apply the strike-out text in colour?

Yes. The editor has been doing that for years. You can't have color and strikeout at the same time without some kind of problem. Don't know why.

It would be great if the strikeout could be in red while keeping the text in the original. Double-tasking isn't the strong suit here.
