Problem file/dataset, etc. or problematic file/dataset,etc.

Hi there,

Example. If I encounter a video/audio/whatever file that I can't open with an appropriate video/audio/etc. player/software, would it be correct to call such "dataset" a PROBLEMATIC file? or shall I say PROBLEM file?

The Google books NGRAM viewer reports the combination "problem file" is used much more frequently than "problematic file" but I am afraid there can be some nuances that I am just missing?
