Is probable stronger than possible?

It's 30 degrees celsius today. It's possible that it might snow tomorrow, but it's not probable.

It's possible that there will be a terrible earthquake tomorrow, but it's not probable. If it were probable, I would jump in my car

One could say that the word 'probably' indicates more certainty [likelihood] than 'possibly'.
