Last month , price of a product was $100. Now, the price is $125. What are the different ways to describe the price increase in terms of (a) dollar amount (b) percentage of increase?. Also, please confirm the following sentences make sense?
1. The price rose/increased from $100 to $125.
2. The price rose/increased by $25.
3. The price rose/increased by 25%.

I'd be tempted to say: the price rose/has risen from... to (you can use "rocket" too), but it increased/has increased by ... %.
