"previous job" meaning

Hi all.

I want to ask about the meaning of previous. I read somewhere that "previous"means one before the current one. Is it always like that?

For example right now I'm working in Company D. Previously, I worked in Company A, B, and C. Can I say "my previous work required me to stay in the office until 9 pm" and actually I'm referring to company B? if not, waht should I say?

Thanks.

" that way it is clear that you are talking about a series of prior jobs. Normally, if you just say "my previous job," you meant the one you just had.
