prevail/win

Though the Marvicks is the better team than the Heat from what I watched the last five games, I believe the Heat will prevail/win after they led the finals with 3-2.

Is this sentence OK?

Thank you

Actually...

...after they led in the finals 3-2. (or... led in the finals three games to two.)

(It's a best of seven series. They have three games, the other has two. It wasn't one game with a score of 3-2.)
