Pretty much clear to her

It sounds like it must have been pretty much clear to her from the beginning that her dad would never fully recover as the injuries he'd sustained were very severe.

Is this sentence grammatically 100 percent correct?

Two suggestions: I prefer ‘sounds as though’ to ‘sounds like’ when describing situations. There should be a comma following ‘recover’ to separate the final clause.
