Anything similar? Maybe I misheard it?

Thanks, Clive.

Is it OK now? And does it mean completely, totally?

Yes, that's the broad idea.

darn/darned is a politer corruption of the swear-word '****/damned', which means 'very'.

Does it mean that my sentences (the use of darn accurate, etc) are not suitable for/in polite conversation or formal conversation?

Thanks again.

'Darn' is a very mild word, and not impolite, but it is informal speech.
