Hello.
Are there any differences between pretend and pretend to be or differences in usage / rules of usage?
Here are some examples what I mean:
1) I pretend to be a happy guy.
I pretend a happy guy.
2) She pretends to be a celebrity.
She pretends a celebrity.
3) You are pretending to be rich.
You are pretending rich.
Thanks in advance
