A sentence or statement can have many different functions. Look at the following list of functions and complete the next exercise:

  6. A schedule or regularly occurring or predictable event (such as a timetable)
  7. Information about a person’s ability

Why don't you find the headlines first? They're quite easy because of the capitalization.

You may have difficulty in getting someone to do this exercise until you've made an attempt at it yourself. It's sort of an unwritten policy.

Edit. If the professor gives a talk on the moon, will anyone listen?
