I know that in this sentence the correct choice is 'have been married', but is it possible to use present simple too in this sentence? Eg., I really can’t remember how long Peter and Susan are married. It seems for ages! I really can’t remember how long Peter and Susan have been married. It seems for ages!
Thanks
