Present simple to describe a situation

Hello.

Sometime I get caught by doubts that have never touched me before.
Here's the last one. There's an interview:
a boy INTERVIEWS a doctor about gaming and its dangers.
Can I use the Present simple as with INTERVIEWS, even if it's not habitual action?

Thank you.
