Hi,

The book has mentioned the right choice to be the first one, but why?
Which usage of present simple is that?

"In which 2002 film does David Beckham appear / has David Beckham appeared?"

I'd be so thankful for any help,

Because if you watched the film again he would still appear! If something is always true we use the present simple.
