Hi

Please help me with this:
Context: When some says he has missed watching a programme on the TV, which of the responses here is correct?

Don't worry; I have taped it so you can see it.
Don't worry; I had taped it so you could see it.

I thought present perfect can work as it shows the effect of the past action in the present.

According to the responses of Vsuresh, I think, the first one is correct, if someone said it in the present time, and the seconde one, if we said it in the past then it 's correct too. so it depends on when you say it.
