Present perfect with when. "I'll be glad when he's got his test"

I just encountered a present perfect while on my reading. it's like this

"I'll be glad when he's got his test" (~still I'm not complaining).

there's a 'present perfect' with 'when', is it correct?

this is out of native resource.
