present perfect vs simple past

hello everyone,
which one is the correct expression?

I bought /have bought a new car, do you want to see it?

I read/have read 5 books by someone this year

I prepared/have prepared the table for tonight's party

jane bought/has bought a new house, do you want to go to see her?

Either verb form is correct in all the sentences. You need to punctuate, however, and the first and last sentences are both run-ons. [ Names are capitalized, as well.
