present perfect vs past simple

There is a dialog from test

And have question about dialog. It's a right answer:

A: I have not seen you for a long time. Where have you been(i) ?
B: I have just come(i) back from Canada.
A: Oh really? What did you do(i) in Canada?
B: I took(i) a nature tour.

Why they use past simple in two latter cases?
