We are reading John's emails. I'm not sure if that answers your question, but it's what a native speaker would be more likely to say. It's better to use less words and to strive for clarity.

OK

So If I say
I sent some emails to John . He is reading them
or
I 've sent some emails to John . His reading them

What is better, I think first one is better? why?

Thanks for your answer

He is reading them, or He's reading them are correct. His reading them is not correct. His is possessive.

I made a mistake I should have written

I sent some emails to John . He is reading them;
or
I 've sent some emails to John . He is reading them.

And for these which one is better ?

The clothes we are wearing were all given to us.
The clothes we are wearing have been given to us.

THANKS
