Present perfect o simple past?

I (Have been)(be) a photographer for over 20 years. I have changed(change) jobs ten times and I have worked (work) in about fifteen different countries, so I have often lived (often / live) abroad. My first job was (be) as an assistant photographer for a magazine. I took (take) pictures and developed (develop) them.

Then I started (start) working on a project about polar bears. The teamspent (spend) many months on the Arctic sea ice, and we searched(search) for the bears' homes. Eventually we found (find) where the bears lived. Some bears approached (approach) me without fear. I took (take) hundred of photos. It was incredible and exciting, but Ihave never been(never / be) so scared.
