Present perfect in sentence

Hi,

No, but I've had my fair share of naughty acts when I was a boy. Or should it be:

No, but I had my fair share of naught acts when I was a boy.

Could both be used? Thanks again!

I know that you are asking about the verb tense, and the answer is that you should use the past simple, since 'when I was a boy' makes is clear that the time is past and finished. However, what caught my eye was the phrase 'naughty acts', which is not native and sounds rather obscene or salacious to me. I suggest: No, but I had my fair share of trouble/scrapes when I was a boy.
