Hi! For number 2 there two past participles. Why do we need "been" to make the sentence grammatical? Thanks, Fulvio

1. Has the ambulance arrived?

1. Has the ambulance arrived?

2. Has the car been fixed?

The 'been' in sentence 2 makes the clause passive. The car isn't fixing anything, you know. Somebody is fixing the car.
