PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS OR PRESENT INDEFINITE

Hi Trainers,
Please, tell me which sentence is correct to say?

1- I am absent for three days. OR
2- I have been absent for three days.

Present Perfect is used for stating experience that has been happening till now and MAY CHANGE in the future too. That is why it is not completely in the PAST (Past Simple). Present Simple is used to tell some facts about present time without any reference to the past.
