Present perfect continuous at negative form

hey everyone...I need help......I really need to know which form I have to use when I use present perfect continuous at the negative form...I ve always known that it was correct to use the present perfect..... for example...." I haven't driven my car for a month" but I also know that there's the another form like " I haven't been driving my car for a month"...could u tell me which is the right way to say it????? please!...I ll wait for ur answer....

There isn't a right way to say it. Both are correct.

1. I haven't driven my car for a month. (present perfect)
2. I haven't been driving my car for a month. (present perfect progressive)

I think that most people, in this case, would use the first.
