Present perfect + another thing

Hello, I'd like to know whether these sentences are correct: (American english)

1) As soon as it happened, the bomb just went to explode.

2) Finally I've come alive, taken a chance and I have turned things around. OR Finally I've come alive, I took a chance and I turned things around.
