Present perfect also possible or not

Good evening.

Peter tells about a museum he visited last year.
Jane asks him whether he liked it.
He says: 'I have never seen so many interesting things'.
Then Jane asks: (1) 'Did you buy any souvenirs?'

Could Jane have said: (2) 'Have you bought any souvenirs?'
I mean: is a present perfect ALSO possible after a series of past(s) simple, if you want to ask someone whether they have done something or not?

Thank you.
