present perfect again

I would like to have a reply to the following question. Suppose I am asked: What have you done today? Of course, in the mind of the person who asks the day is not over. I reply with a list of action, such as: I have had a shower, I have eaten my breakfast, I have gone to school, I have eaten my lunch, and so on. Is it correct to use the present perfect ? I guess so...it is an enumeration of actions, and we use the present perfect to give the idea that something is going on and the listener should expect more. Am i right? Thank you
