If you board the plane with your friend, look around and say: I have worked here for 5 years, good days...( while you regret), and the context is that you and your friend are going on a trip to somewhere, and you used to work for the same airline you are traveling with, and now u remember that, is that possible to use present perfect? in this case the action is not continuing, but the connection to present is that you can remember it
