Present Perfect

"Have you seen her" or "Did you see her" and "Have you won the game" or "Did you win the game?" Which one is correct and why?

This is because the Present Perfect should be used for actions which began in the past but continue to the present, or actions which could have taken place at any point in a whole period of time lasting from somewhere in the past until now (is this case, you are asking them whether, until now, they have seen her), whilst the Past Simple is used for actions which happened in the past and have nothing to do with the present (the game happened in the past, not now).
