Present Perfect

I'm at doubt with the phrase structure at this two sentences, both usign Present Perfect:

I have never visited Rome.
I never have visited Rome.

Which is right and which is wrong?

The first one is far more common. The second is not wrong.

The first sentence is right because in Present Perfect tense we always put following Formula.

Subject + have/has + past participle.

By your formula, the second sentence in the poster's question is also right. The only difference is the position of the adverb, which does not appear in the formula that you give. Also, for questions, the word order is different.
