present participle emphasis?

I have just come across a common sentence but can't figure out that:

1. I am reading in my bedroom.
2. I am in my bedroom reading.

Is this some kind of inversion for the purpose of emphasis or?

In the first sentence, 'am reading' is a present progressive form.

In the second sentence 'am' is the main verb and 'reading' a participle modifying the subject.

As Mr M said, they mean effectively the same thing, though I don't see any inversion there.
