Present Participle and Past Participle

First discovered more than 30 years ago, Lina's sunbird, a four-and-a-half-inch animal found in the Philippines and resembling a hummingbird, has shimmering metallic colors on its head.

I understand Participles FOUND and RESEMBLING have no tense on its own , and takes the tense based on the context of the sentence.

If so why is above sentence wrong if I changed modifier (bolded) to

1.Found in the Philippines and resembled a humming bird.

2.Finding in the Philippines and resembling a humming bird.

3.Finding in the Philippines and resembled a humming bird.

Guys,Please forgive for my ignorance and help me to understand the concept when can a present participle be parallel to past participle.
