Present or present perfect tense?

Hi. Please help. Let us pretend a group of people have watched a cartoon that is readily available for free online. Let us also pretend it was fun and since there happened to be some people in the group who were English learners, one person who was fluent in English decided to write some assignment/comprehension questions to test the English learners. Which tense should he/she use for the following questions? Are they both correct?

1. Write at least one idiom you heard/have heard.

2. Did/Has the main character utter (say) anything that could be called grammatically incorrect? If he did, what was it?/If he has, what is it?

Since the watching is over and done with, the past tense works best. Has the main character say/utter is always wrong.
