Present or future tense

Hello,

I was wondering which of the following sentences (which tense) would be more suitable in this context:

"I am going to check the weather forecast to see if the children need sunscreen tomorrow."

"I am going to check the weather forecast to see if the children will need sunscreen tomorrow."

Thank ypi

The simple present tense can be used to project the immediate future. Both sentences are fine.

Both are suitable, but I prefer 'will need' if that makes a difference to you.
