Present Continuous after when
Hi,
Sometimes I come up against sentences with "when + present continuous" such as: You should be careful when you are driving. I've found some examples on this forum
and I know they are correct. But can anyone please help me how to name this use of Present Continuous in grammatical terms? I would like to find a proper grammatical description (all grammar pages seem to be oblivious to this use of presesnt continuous) or book where I can find such.

I do not have the patience to read through all those threads, but it seems that you are simply referring to the use of the continuous forms to indicate a matrix action of some length (in some instances, within which a more instantaneous second action occurs).
