Present continuous

Hi,

I'd like to have your advice about this sentence.

Kate has just phoned me. she's in holidays. she is having a good time in France and she doesn't want to come back.

Why is it doesn't want rather than isn't wanting ?

  • The verb "want" is usually stative (not an action verb).
