Prepositions with 'Survive' and 'Pick up'

Hi,

I'm confused about when to use and which prepositions are correct below. I would appreciate if you could help me, please.

A. You should have at least a knife to survive the jungle.
B. You should have at least a knife to surivive in the jungle.

C. I'll pick you up in the office at 6.
D. I'll pick you up from the office at 6.

1. Which sentences are correct?
2. If in each set, both are acceptable, how are they different in meaning?
