Prepositions in Where/Which...questions

Hello!

Could you tell me if the following sentences are correct or not in regard to the preposition like "to" or "at"?

1. Where did you go to ?
2. Where did you go to yesterday?
3. Where did you meet her?
4. Which restaurant did you go to?
5. Which restaurant did you go to yesterday?
6. Which restaurant did you meet her at?
7. Which restaurant did you meet her at yesterday?
8. Where did you eat? (Do you put "at" at the end?)
9. Which restaurant did you eat at?

My understanding was as follows:
You don't put "to" or "at" in "Where questions" unless you want to emphasize the location part.
On the other hand, you basically put prepositions in "Which questions".
However in a sentence like No.4, it sound strange to keep the preposition.

Could you tell me what you think?

We eat at a restaurant, go to a restaurant, meet someone at a restaurant, etc., so we say "Which restaurant did you eat at?", "Which restaurant did you go to?", and so on, always retaining the appropriate preposition. Without a preposition, the restaurant would be the direct object of the verb, e.g. "Which restaurant did you buy?".
