Prepositions. In or with human lives??

2down votefavorite

Hello! I'm currently writing a formal letter in which I'm complaining about the dangers of the process of tanning leather in Bangladesh and could really use some help in deciding which preposition to use in the sentence below. (in or with)?

But the ugly truth is that this price difference is actually being paid in Bangladesh; in/ with human lives.

Which preposition should I use here? Thanks in advance

You pay in dollars, in rubles, in pounds, etc., so it's "in human lives".
