Prepositions: I am [in/from] Shipping and Receiving

Suppose that you are working in the warehouse of a particular company. You want to call a sales clerk in the office regarding an issue. A switchboard person is transferring your call to any clerk. After you have waited a few minutes, the first available clerk is answering your call.

(1) You say, "Good afternoon. My name is Jack Brown. I am in Shipping and Receiving. May I ask...."

(2) You say, "Good afternoon. My name is Jack Brown. I am from Shipping and Receiving. May I ask...."

Which preposition is correct? Thank you very much for your help.
