PS: I use the dictionary Oxford Advanced Learner's Compass for consulting the prepositions. (I used it now for consulting the preposition after use and it showed "use sth for doing sth")
So it shows "essential (to / for sth) | essential (to do sth) | essential (that … )" but in the first example was used the preposition in. This is my doubt. I have a million of doubts about it.
Another example is the noun difficulty. In the dictionary, there is no prepositions for this word (or to this word?) and in the third example was used in.
How can I know what preposition to use when it is not in the dictionary?

I wouldn't use about in your third example. The others are fine. Prepositions are difficult to master.
