Prepositions: branded [under/by] at least five of the major companies

I have made up the similar examples below.

(1) Beef products branded by at least five of the major companies in the country have been found contaminated.

(2) Beef products branded under at least five of the major companies in the country have been found contaminated.

Which preposition is correct? Please help me. Thank you very much for all your time and help.
