Prepositions at the end of some questions

Dear all,

Is there a specific rule for using prepositions at the end of the questions?

E.g: Who are you living with?

Which school do you study at?

Which scool are you going to?

When do we use them and when not?

I'd be so grateful if anyone clarify with some instances.

Thank you in advance

There is no specific rule fo this. These prepositions are at the end of the sentence due to the change of the word order in special questions, but these prepositions arern't changed( live with , study at , going to )... Ex: He is looking for a fight -> What is he looking for ?

  • She looked at the picture -> What did she look at ?
