i had been given a homework for this prepositions
and my answer was The bridge is across the river
but unfortunately she told me it cant be across the river.....and she told us to write "The Bridge is Through the river .

Ask your teacher for a simple drawing of a bridge going through a river as opposed to a drawing of a river going through a valley.
