hi again!

Are these prepositions correct?

A scene of an Impressionist painting. (or should I write from an Impressionist p)

The author is left inbetween the poetic house of the lyric and the narrative....(is 'inbetween' correct?)

Hi Dido, I'm not sure of your entire context, but a scene FROM an Impressionist painting sounds right in most cases that I can think of. " Is that a common phrase, or could that possibly be a mistranslation?

I'm not sure of your entire context, but a scene FROM an Impressionist painting sounds right in most cases that I can think of.

I have to confess that I struggle with between and in-between myself, but in this case, you should use just "between." And never having studied poetry, I'm not familiar with the phrasing "poetic house of the lyric." Is that a common phrase, or

Thanks Grammar Geek, the 'poetic house or home' is a metaphor. I've checked on the Internet and I've seen correct examples of 'inbetween'
