Preposition use

Do I use "worked in the Air Force" or "worked at the Air Force"?
And the text "Military service in the Air traffic control role, worked four years [...]" is correct?

It is usual to say "I served in the Air Force."
I served in the military.
I have military service experience.

I worked for four years as an air traffic controller in the military.

In Canada, we often say eg I was in the Air Force.

In US, they also say I WAS IN THE AIR FORCE.

Yes, we say that too. But "served" is a more compelling description for a CV or job application.
