Preposition use

Hi!

in one article i've written the following:

We will provide you the best tips and tricks....

and

Our determination to provide you the best guide

which got changed by the editor to

We will provide you with the best tips and tricks....

Our determination to provide you with the best guide

are my written sentences wrong? and why we need with here? In my view both of my sentences are making perfect sense and are grammatically correct. Can anyone please tell me what's the problem with my written sentences and why with is required here?

That depends on the rest of the sentence/context. You'll have to tell us that before anyone can answer your question.

this is allowed in the UK casinos. Some other casinos may also allow it

It sounds as if previous sentences might have referred very generally to all casinos everywhere. Thus, I would probably use the word "the" in order to specify UK casinos in particular, but I'd also say that "the" is optional in this case.
