Preposition Usage

Hello All,
Do we use in/on with bank accounts in UK English?

Eg : How much money do you have in/on the account?

Thanks,
Prasanna

'In' collocates with money kept in the bank, so "How much money do you have in the account?" seems to sound better. You can put something on somebody account.
